1998: Beginning in the Bat Cave
With a single designer and programmer, Ricardo launched Cazarin Interactive from the basement of his Plymouth home, nicknamed ‘The Bat Cave.’ While they endured a few lean years, they built the business on the same principle that holds true today: building relationships first and websites second.
2003: From Survival to Stability
The team evolved from the basement to an office in Wayzata, and finally to the current office in Maple Grove. Effective web design, custom software, and aggressive marketing strategies kept the company moving forward as so many fell in the wake of the tech bubble.
2008: Spreading Our Wings
By 2008, Cazarin had established itself as one the Twin Cities’ premier digital marketing firms. Truly a “one-stop shop,” we were by this time offering a complete portfolio of marketing services, including: web design, video production, search engine optimization, social media, brand management and a full range of traditional print solutions.
2011: Acquiring Artropolis
Cazarin strengthened the web design and development side of our business by acquiring award-winning web design shop, Artropolis. The acquisition helped to bolster Cazarin’s talent portfolio and positioned both companies for greatness in the years ahead.
2012: Launching Marketing Fusion
Cazarin launched our flagship service offering: Marketing Fusion. This new service platform allows us to apply our versatility by fusing our talent and experience with client objectives to develop long-term integrated marketing campaigns.
While the industry has changed much, and many sites have come and gone, one thing has remained constant—at Cazarin, we first build relationships and then we build websites. In tandem with Artropolis and a growing list of local, regional and national clients, Cazarin looks forward to more opportunities and changes in the years to come.
